About Us

Entertainment for People is a variety show and offers an exciting and, as the title promises, highly entertaining variety show that offers a snack-sized smorgasbord of music, weird stuff, film, readings, comedy in all forms, and booze.

B. Frayn Masters Produces and performs in Entertainment for People and is the Senior Producer and co-host of the Back Fence PDX Storytelling show. She has written, voiced and produced scripts of award-winning hilarity for NPR’s Rewind!, Animal Planet Network, Microsoft games, along with various corporate projects. She writes and occasionally reads to crowds funny/dirty stuff for GGW magazine (Yes! They have a magazine…with words and everything) under the name Cherry Daniels. And she writes the text for cellphone app games for the Twilight movie series—so ask her anything about Edward, Bella, or Jacob—she knows the answer. Samplers of her writing can be found in MonkeyBicycle 6, Hobart, and Mountain Man Dance Moves: The McSweeney’s Book of Lists. She is a professional scriptwriter, copywriter, and stage/film director.

Meagan Kate is Associate Producer of Entertainment for People and Back Fence PDX’s Front of House Manager. She is lucky enough to work  as a theatre arts teacher at PHAME Academy, and is a daily contributor to Portland Pulp.  She has been seen on a few different Portland stages as an actress and storyteller, and was featured in 2011 on Khloe Kardashian’s website, thanks to her participation in a spot-on Kardashian sisters Halloween costume. MK is also a contributing writer for popular comedy site Laughspin, which means she gets to review 30 Rock episodes she was going to watch anyway, and interview her favorite comics… so it’s pretty awesome. When you see her at E4P, feel free to come give her a hug because she likes those a lot.
